The 1 Granary Design Awards Shortlist
Nominated entirely by in-house and independent designers, these teams now move into the final round of peer-led voting.
After opening nominations to more than 1,000 designers across luxury houses and independent studios, we’re publishing the shortlist for the inaugural 1 Granary Design Awards. These names were chosen entirely by designers themselves – the people best placed to judge the depth, craft, and collaborative intelligence that define strong work. The shortlist offers a rare view of the industry’s internal landscape, highlighting the teams whose contributions often remain unseen but anchor the creative process, and whose members will be credited in full.
The final round of voting is now underway, again led exclusively by designers. Their votes will determine the winners, to be announced on Tuesday, 9 December. At a time when fashion is reassessing authorship and accountability, this peer-led process sets a new standard: recognition shaped by the work itself, not by visibility or hierarchy. Today’s shortlist reflects the people who carried the industry through a volatile year, and the collective talent that will shape what comes next.
